Dr. McGukin, a native of South Carolina, is a founding member of Carolina Cardiology Associates. He is one of Carolina Cardiology Associate's Interventional cardiologists, the director of Carolina Cardiology Associates' Nuclear Cardiology Program, and the medical director of High Point Regional Hospital's Critical Care Transport Unit.
Professional focus: Interventional cardiology, stents, atherectomy and nuclear cardiology. Dr. McGukin was the first in High point to do transesophageal echocardiography (TTE).
An avid beekeeper, Dr. McGukin has been featured on the Fox8 News making honey from his more than 2.5 million bees.
