Dr. Folk followed a long family tradition and graduated from Wake Forest University, earning a Masters Degree in chemistry before entering medical school. He is currently director of the Chest Pain Center at High Point Regional Hospital and serves on the board of Carolina Regional Heart Center.
Professional focus: General and invasive cardiology, echocardiography and stress echo.
Dr. Folk spends his leisure time with his wife and family and tries to make time for sailing.
His current hospital affiliations include: High Point Regional Hospital, Lexington Memorial Hospital, Randolph Hospital, and Thomasville Medical Center.
