 The mission of Carolina Regional Heart Center, a partnership between Carolina Cardiology Cornerstone and High Point Regional Health System, is to provide the residents of the Piedmont Triad with a full range of high-quality, easily accessible, cost-effective and integrated cardiovascular care in an environment that respects the dignity and privacy of patients and families.
We strive to anticipate and respond to the needs of our patients, their families and their primary care physicians.
We believe our cardiovascular care is enhanced when primary preventive, diagnostic and rehabilitative services are available in patients' hometowns. We work closely with hospital and physicians to develop and provide these services in their communities.
We also make continuing education available to health care providers throughout our region.
Our goal is to constantly improve our services and knowledge through the measurement and reporting of clinical outcomes, degree of patient improvement, utilization of resources and patient satisfaction.
Our Pledge
To our patients: Efficient, cost-effective, high-quality care for their physical, spiritual and emotional needs with service provided promptly, courteously and with a positive attitude.
To their physicians: Responsive support, consultation and results–reporting which never loses sight of the relationship they have with their patients and returns their patients to their care as soon as possible. We believe in making the patient's primary care physician an integral part of the cardiovascular team.
To our community: To be vigilant stewards of cardiovascular care and a resource to the residents of the Piedmont Triad; to ensure that the quality of cardiovascular care is on par with or exceeds that which is available nationally; and to provide training and education which facilitates the lifestyle changes necessary to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular disease.
